The Jefferson County Farm Bureau Foundation is proud to support the future of agriculture by offering scholarships to local students pursuing a degree in agriculture at a college or university. In 2020, the Foundation awarded scholarships to three local students.
Hannah DeJournett, daughter of Stephen and Sarah Ann of Bluford, is attending Murray State University to major in agriculture education.
Katie Huff, daughter of Brian and Misty Huff of Dix, is attending Black Hawk College to study veterinary science.
Reagan Newell, son of Jason and Stacy Newell of Bonnie, is attending Rend Lake College to major in agribusiness.

The Jefferson County Farm Bureau Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Mt. Vernon, IL. The Foundation was founded in 1991 with the purpose to offer college scholarships to dependents of Jefferson County Farm Bureau Members.

Rick Corners Memorial Scholarship--Now accepting applications for 2021!
The objective of the Rick Corners Memorial Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a Murray State University student who majors in agriculture, agribusiness, or an ag-related course of study.
The 2020 recipient is Madison Bock. Madison is the daughter of Mike and Melinda Bock of Ashley. She attends Murray State University and majors in agriculture education.
The attached application is for a scholarship funded by donations collected through the Jefferson County Farm Bureau® Foundation.
